Wireless video long-distance transmission in towns across the Yangtze River ferry over the years, it has played an important role in the communication and economic and trade exchanges between people on both sides of the Yangtze River. The ferry consists of multiple original ferries. The closure of the city ferry and the navigation of the new ferry provide more convenient and reasonable access for people on both sides, and also open up shoreline space for high-quality urban waterfront space.
Customer demand
In order to improve ship safety and management efficiency, the Radio and Television Bureau invites a 5km distance wifi module manufacturer to set up a remote wireless video monitoring system for ferries on both sides of the strait, which transmits real-time wireless video monitoring data to the dispatch room on both sides of the strait, monitors possible emergencies during ship navigation, and timely detects and responds to them.
Field condition
The distance between the two sides is about 3.3KM, and there is no barrier between the ferry route and the monitoring room. After the field investigation by the technicians of the wifi module at a distance of 5 kilometers, it was found that there were various radar signal interference near the wharf, and the interference degree was very serious.
Scheme description
The whole wifi module wireless transmission system for a distance of 5 kilometers adopts the wireless network bridge CV5200, and the port is equipped with 120° wide-angle antenna transmission, which can realize long-distance coverage. Considering the problem of ferry steering, 12dbi high-gain omnidirectional antenna is used to solve the problem of signal dead Angle. Each ferry is equipped with 15-channel HD webcams to ensure clear and stable images and smooth control of the cloud platform. In order to deal with environmental interference, our company decided to change the frequency to avoid interference.
Project result
After the 5km distance wifi module wireless video monitoring system is put into use, the control room located in the North and South Port can watch the HD surveillance video on the ferry in real time after several trips back and forth. The whole process is stable and there is no bad situation, so as to achieve the purpose of comprehensive monitoring and greatly improve the level of handling water emergencies.
Urban emergency backup water source engineering monitoring case, in order to greatly improve the safety of town and city water, to meet the future economic and social development of water demand. Thirty water Wells are planned. In order to ensure the infrastructure in the water source well, real-time video preview and video storage for each water source well should be carried out, and a complete video transmission system should be established on site.
Project profile analysis
There are a total of 30 points in the site, each point has 2 videos, which are distributed irregularly in an area. There are buildings and tree belts between the points and the command center, and the tree belts are basically about 20 meters.
Project solution
The field point span is relatively large, the points are relatively scattered, and the cutting points are distributed in the farmland. If the traditional wired transmission mode is used, the construction period will be long and the cutting cost is relatively high. Wireless transmission using 5km wifi module is a relatively time-saving and energy-saving transmission mode. However, in order to achieve wireless transmission, there are no obstacles between points, so after our technicians investigated the site, we decided to use our independently designed and developed 5km distance wifi module CV5200 as the main transmission. A reasonable transmission scheme is designed according to the field points, and a relatively high relay tower is built at the appropriate location, which first summarizes the area range and then transmits to the command center.
After the installation was completed, all points achieved wireless transmission successfully with stable transmission signal and clear image after debugging by our company's 5km distance wifi module technicians. The expected results were achieved, and the project side highly praised the wireless transmission project of our company.
